The Wayfarers CRM platform was conceptualized and developed as an internal system to support the data management, feedback tracking, and iterative training of our AI travel companion, Supertramp. The goal was to create a centralized platform where we could easily store and analyze user feedback, manage feature requests, track bugs, and house the extensive data sets essential for training Supertramp.
Our development process began with a lean, foundational structure that allowed us to quickly establish a functional dashboard. This initial “bare-bones” approach enabled rapid progress without detracting from the primary focus: building The Wayfarers platform itself. Key functions, like user feedback tracking and feature request logs, were prioritized to gather real-time insights into user needs and streamline communication with the design and development teams.
This phased, iterative approach allowed us to refine features progressively. Early versions of the dashboard served as a testing ground for logging and tracking feedback; as we expanded, more robust training functions were integrated. These enhancements empowered the team to continuously train Supertramp, adapting the AI agent to meet evolving user expectations and refining its responses with real-world data.
